Summer Camp near Jefferson Township, NJ
Located near Jefferson Township, Tamarack offers specialized programs designed for children aged 3-15, catering to their unique physical and developmental needs. Our mission prioritizes creating a supportive environment where campers can flourish, acquiring a diverse set of skills and essential life competencies. At Tamarack, we emphasize more than just the acquisition of hobbies like swimming or baseball. Your child will cultivate independence, confidence, teamwork, a willingness to explore new activities, determination, social and emotional intelligence, integrity, leadership, and resilience. Our holistic approach to the Tamarack Experience is further enhanced by convenient central transportation, a comprehensive lunch program, and a sprawling 37-acre facility. Here, campers have access to amenities such as a heated Olympic-sized pool, a Pro-turf sports complex, air-conditioned studios, a skate park, ropes course, and zip lines. These features are strategically integrated to foster the development of crucial life skills within the dynamic and adventurous environment of a traditional day camp.
3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, each Teen Travel camper and their parents must agree to our Teen Travel Behavior Contract, outlining expectations and guidelines for behavior. A dedicated Division Head oversees the Teen Travel Programs both in camp and during trips, providing additional support and supervision.
Our Teen Staff undergo specialized training to effectively supervise campers in public settings and address the unique challenges of the early teenage years.
