Located in Jefferson Township, New Jersey, Tamarack offers a specialized Teen Travel Program designed for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. This unique program combines on-site camp activities with off-site day trips. During camp days, teenagers follow a structured schedule, participating in various activities led by experienced counselors. The agenda includes designated time for free swim, Ropes Courses, and a variety of athletic and creative endeavors. This comprehensive approach not only provides exciting adventures but also fosters camaraderie and personal development within a supportive community environment.
In Jefferson Township, New Jersey, Tamarack enforces stringent Travel Protocols for Safety beyond the camp grounds. Teenage participants and their parents must sign the Teen Travel Behavior Contract. Like other camp divisions, Teen Travel Programs are overseen by a Division Head, responsible for both camp activities and travels. Our Teen Staff receive specialized training to supervise campers in public spaces and address the particular challenges of early adolescence.
